TIPS FOR PARENTS
Talk to your children about the lives of pirates. Did they really have wooden legs and eye patches? Did they hide their treasures and draw treasure maps?
TIPS FOR EDUCATORS
- Make a pirate ship with the children and then let it float. A craft template is enclosed.
- Play a movement game on the theme of "pirates". Lay down (e.g. with gymnastic rings) or paint circles on the floor to represent the hull of a ship, with a rope serving as a plank. There are no limits to your imagination here. A story or a song can accompany the whole thing.
- Everyone wants to take part in a real treasure hunt! Prepare some pirate treasure and hide it. Draw a treasure map and go on an adventurous treasure hunt with the children. Everyone helps out and in the end, everyone is happy about their success. Have fun!
