Warmly welcome to Beleduc GmbH and our vast range of toys that shall arouse the joy of learning, discovering and testing oneself.
Our range has the aim to promote the desire of playing together and to convey nearly unnoticed different abilities that children at the age of 2 to 7 years should obtain.
By means of our range consisting of wooden board games, wooden puzzles, handglovepuppets and creative gift ideas, we would like to invite to experience and develop one’s own creativity.
We believe in the maxim: Kids do not play in order to learn, but they learn due to their play.
True to this maxim, we continue to put a lot of effort in the development of new educational toys which are of best quality, promote every child in its individual level of development and offer a lot of fun.
Children are our future and we would like to make our contribution by providing toys which support children’s personality development and help them to become self-confident adults.
Already during the development of our items, we pay a lot of attention to the needs of our young customers. Thus, the products are tested in kindergartens for function, content, fun and comprehensibility of instruction before they are put into production as we want to make learning an enjoyable activity. And frankly, who is more honest to express his opinion than our children?
Increasingly, we arrange and modify the production in compliance with the latest requirements related to the environmental safety of used materials, origin of materials (esp. wood) and of course safety of toys.

Our philosophy - our goals
Our philosophy „We believe children do not play to learn, children learn because they play“ will continue being the incentive and responsibility to develop and realize more educational toys in the near future. The toys are invented to meet children in their current level of development, support them and lead them to new skills by joyful play. Every child has the right to receive individual support for their creativity and fantasy so that they will become able to follow their own independent ways.
By following our aims, we will not cease to attach great importance on best quality materials which express naturalness and bear up durable use in kindergartens etc. worldwide.
Our desire is that our products will be available in more countries worldwide and that we find new partners who work with us to reach this goal.

* Beleduc delivers to more than 50 countries worldwide
* the total turn over of year 2008, achieved by Beleduc Germany and our subsidiary Beleduc Arts & Crafts in Ningbo, amounted to around 6 Mio Euros
* 75 % of our total turnover is reached by exports
* most of our customers belong to the following groups:
- Kindergarten and school supplier
- toy wholesalers
- mail order companies
- toy retailers
- internet dealers
- publishing houses
* we are developing OEM projects especially for publishing houses as well as for premium dealers. The products are manufactured by our Ningbo factories and all projects are accompanied locally by English and German speaking colleagues who work with us for many years.
* For our European customers, we dispose of a warehouse with about 1,500 sqm in Olbernhau/Germany which is partly equipped with high bay racking. The delivery of goods from this warehouse can be effected within a very short period.
* Mainly the Asian, American and Arabian market is supplied with the goods which are stored in our 3 warehouse that are located in Ningbo. These 3 warehouses comprehend a total volume of about 800 cbm (equals appr. 12 40’ containers). The despatch of stock quantities also can be arranged rapidly within about 2 weeks.
* From the beginning of 2009, we have started to supply also the China domestic market with the goods stored in our Ningbo warehouses. In some provinces we have already succeeded in winning domestic partners, who distribute Beleduc goods in its production country to Kindergartens, elementary schools and retailers * France, Netherlands, Japan, Korea, USA, Canada etc. rank first among the countries which realize the most important turnovers

Beleduc Puzzles
(material: Russian birch plywood)
Beleduc puzzles are always particular. They unite not only great ideas with exclusive illustrations but also creativity and quality. Puzzles with different sizes of knobs for different age levels, frame puzzles, inserting puzzles, lacing puzzles or our popular and vast range of layer puzzles – they all support the playful uptake, convey the basics of classification and combination as well as promote the linguistic development.
BELEDUC GAMES
(material: Russian birch plywood and other kinds of wood)
To play is no leisure or luxurious activity. Our children need games in the sense of integral learning opportunity. To play enhances the primitive development, due to the fact that learning starts long before a child goes to school. No matter if simple colour games or challenging number games, learning with Beleduc products is easy and children will surely enjoy it.
BELEDUC HANDGLOVEPUPPETS
Lovingly designed hand puppets often become friends and accompany children quite a long time through childhood. The selection of our hand puppets is nearly exhaustless. Particularly, unknown animals are the most exciting ones. Fantasy will be inspired by role plays and speech and self-confidence arouse. From time to time, it is hard for children to communicate but with the help of a hand puppet they will cope with it.
We are offering different kind of displays for this range in order to guarantee an optimized presentation.
BELEDUC CREATIVE
It is always a great adventure for children to experience their own creativity. By coloring and creating, a simple cotton bag turns speedily into a unique bag and an artless wooden box into a fascinating treasure chest. Most notably, the little-bitty gift items are always welcome and invite to play.

Invented for children – tested by children
* In order to embrace our maxim “We believe children do not play to learn, children learn because they play”, we are investigating the opinion of our young clients and test our prototypes in kindergartens. During the testing period in the kindergarten, the product is played, evaluated and analyzed by educators, nursery nurses and children. Only after this testing phase, we take our decision whether we go into production with this project.
* Our development department in Niederohmen (Hessen) Germany cooperates with different freelance game designers, educators, illustrators and an academy of design with the result of realizing continuously new ideas.
* Our development department consisting of 4 staff members is headed by our general manager and a trained toy designer
* In addition to learn and play value, we pay a lot of attention to the conformity of our products with all current requirements of product safety and their international regulations (EN71, ASTM etc.)
* The production plant of Hape International Ltd. in Ningbo, which belongs to our company family, disposes of different of certificates like ICTI Care Process, ISO9001, ISO14001, FSC Chain-of-Custody
